The truth is betting syndicates today are very much like hedge funds. They are run by very bright talented and capable people with large amounts of capitol invested by various partners and or investors. They employ programmer’s statistician’s scientist’s former banker’s traders. You name it if it can give them an edge they will employ that person. There daring and brilliance puts most hedge funds to shame.

All syndicates wish to remain anonymous and low profile so as to not attract a following that will damage there wagers. They will even force people to think that they are wagering one way and at the last minute go the opposite leaving a long line of sad faces in the wake. There wagers are cleverly disguised and you will never know the right way until after the event has played out.

In the meantime the rich betting and racing syndicates will continue to quietly work there magic and illusions just like the hedge funds and you will never know the right angle beforehand.
